Abhyanga is a traditional Ayurvedic full-body oil massage where warm oil, matched to your constitution (Vata, Pitta, or Kapha), is applied in flowing strokes across the entire body. At Ayuasana in Köln-Ehrenfeld, Cologne, the session lasts 60 minutes and costs 90 euros. Every session begins with a personal conversation — Naveen Reddy, trained in the Charaka tradition, selects the oil, room temperature, and technique individually for you. The flowing strokes and the warm oil create a moment of calm — a time-out in which many guests feel they can fully arrive and unwind.
Abhyanga Massage · 60 minutes
Sixty minutes of warm oil chosen for your constitution, mindful hands, and the stillness the body needs. Abhyanga — the daily anointing that Charaka described as nourishment for skin, joints, and spirit.
Ayuasana is a pure wellness and relaxation offering. The treatments described here serve exclusively general well-being and relaxation. The provider is neither a doctor nor a Heilpraktiker (state-licensed alternative practitioner); no healthcare within the meaning of the German Alternative Practitioners Act (Heilpraktikergesetz, HeilprG) is practised. The treatments are not medical or therapeutic treatment, not a diagnosis and not nutritional counselling, and do not replace a visit to a doctor. No illnesses or complaints are diagnosed, treated or alleviated, and no healing or health promises are made. The individual tailoring of a treatment — for example based on personal preferences or the Ayurvedic constitutional profile (Vata, Pitta, Kapha) — serves solely a pleasant, soothing wellness experience and has no medical or diagnostic character.
