You'll find me in Jülich at L&L Physio, Güstener Straße 80, 52428 Jülich. I work by appointment only – so no rush and no waiting room, just a room that is entirely yours for your time. I learned Abhyanga in Mysuru in southern India, and it's exactly this calm, mindful ritual that I'm now bringing to Jülich.
Abhyanga is a gentle full-body massage with plenty of warm oil. The movements are flowing, even and unhurried – it's not about performance or a technique you're meant to notice, but simply about letting you do nothing for a while. For me, Abhyanga is above all a ritual of calm and warmth.
What to Expect from Your Abhyanga
We start with a short chat: How are you today, do you prefer firmer or very gentle work, which oil feels right for you right now? Then it gets warm – the room, the oil, the whole atmosphere. You lie down, I work at a calm pace from head to toe, and for 60 or 90 minutes you simply get to switch off completely.
Many of my guests experience this time as a deep pause from everyday life. Afterwards most feel calmer, warmer and a little lighter – simply well rested. I deliberately don't promise more than that, because for me Abhyanga is a feel-good ritual, not a medical service.
Who It's For – and How to Book
Abhyanga is for you if you'd like to treat yourself to a real time-out: when your head is full, the days are long, or you simply want to properly arrive back with yourself. It's an offering for relaxation and well-being – it does not replace medical treatment and is not a promise to heal anything.
