For a while now I've been coming to Alsdorf regularly — as a guest at the Seelen Auszeit studio at Broicherstraße 143a. I set up my massage table there, warm my herbal oil, and give you an hour (or an hour and a half) that belongs only to you: Abhyanga, the warm Ayurvedic oil massage I learned in Mysuru in southern India.
Why Alsdorf? Quite simply: many people from the area told me the drive to Cologne is too far — and even Aachen can feel like a small journey after a long workday. A real time-out shouldn't begin with thirty minutes behind the wheel. So I looked for a quiet place in Alsdorf — and found it at Seelen Auszeit.
A calm room at the Seelen Auszeit studio
The studio's name says it all — "Seelen Auszeit" means a time-out for the soul. The room I work in is warm, cosy and pleasantly quiet: soft light, the scent of warm oil, no phones, no hurry. Before you arrive, everything is prepared — the table is pre-warmed and the oil is at just the right temperature. All you need to bring is a little time.
People come to me from Alsdorf itself, but also from Herzogenrath, Würselen, Baesweiler and Eschweiler — all with the same wish: an hour of calm, without having to drive into the big city for it.
How your Abhyanga in Alsdorf unfolds
We start with a short conversation: how are you today, where would you like me to take extra time, how warm do you like the oil? Then you make yourself comfortable on the pre-warmed table. I work with plenty of warm herbal oil and calm, flowing strokes from head to toe. You stay carefully draped the whole time — only the area I'm working on is uncovered. At the end there's a quiet moment where you simply lie still and let everything settle.
My tip: don't plan anything important right after your massage. The oil is welcome to stay on your skin a little longer — so wear comfortable clothes that won't mind a drop of oil. And if you can, let the rest of the evening wind down gently: a warm drink, an early night. That's part of the ritual too.

My prices are the same at all my locations: Abhyanga 60 minutes €90, 90 minutes €120, yoga massage 60 minutes €90. Only the couples Abhyanga is offered exclusively in Cologne — in Alsdorf there is just a single table, and that's exactly what makes the room so quiet.
